2 Transfer of pensioners covered by the CPP – Caisse de Pensions Pension Fund with effect from 1 January 2016

The entitlements to surviving spouse’s and partner’s pensions that replace a retirement or disability pension transferred from CPP – Caisse de Pensions with effect from 1 January 2016 amount to 70% of the last retirement or disability pension drawn. The same applies to the active insured members transferred who had retired due to old age as at 1 January 2016. In all other respects, the existence and amount of the surviving spouse’s and partner’s pensions are governed in full by the relevant provisions of the Pension Fund regulations.
